UNK- An Evening of Concert Dance, an annual event at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, will take place at 8 p.m. on Feb. 25 and 26 in the Miriam Drake Theater on the UNK campus.
The event features dances choreographed and performed by UNK students and faculty. Special to the 2000 performance is a piece titled “Generations,” that is choreographed by Kathy J. Schluntz, Republican City senior, with music by New York composer Steven Sacco titled “Remembrance,” performed by UNK music professor Nathan Buckner.
Tickets for the two evenings go on sale today at the UNK Box Office located in the Fine Arts Building. Box Office hours are from 2 to 5 p.m. Tickets are $3 for general admission and are free to UNK students, faculty and staff.
