UNK- The University of Nebraska at Kearney department of modern languages is sponsoring the 2000 Foreign Film Series. The films will be shown on Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m. in Thomas Hall Room 106. They are free and open to the public.
Feb. 17: “Le dernier metro” (The Last Subway). French with English subtitles.
Feb. 24: “Europa, Europa.” German and Russian with English subtitles.
March 2: “Marusa no ohna II” (A Taxing Woman’s Return). Japanese with English subtitles.
March 23: “Tristana.” Spanish with English subtitles.
April 6: “L’Indochine.” French with English subtitles.
April 13: “Die Blechtrommel” (The Tin Drum). German with English subtitles.
April 20: “Central Station.” Portuguese with English subtitles.
