DRIVER EDUCATION CLASSES OFFERED BY THE NEBRASKA SAFETY CENTER

UNK- The Nebraska Safety Center at the University of Nebraska at Kearney will be offering driver education classes during the spring of 2000. These courses conform to the rules and regulations of the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles and exceed the criteria established for insurance discounts. New sessions are starting soon and are filling quickly.

The Tuesday and Thursday evening sessions are approximately seven weeks in length and will take place March 28, 30; April 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, 27; May 2, 4, 9 and 11. Classes will be conducted from 6 to 9 p.m. each evening. To enroll in the course, an enrolment form with a non-refundable $75 deposit must be received at the Safety Center by March 15.

The Saturday afternoons class is approximately eight weeks in length and will take place Feb. 5, 12, 19, 26; March 4, 11, 18 and 25. Classes will be conducted from 1 to 5 p.m. To enroll, an enrollment form with a non-refundable deposit must be received at the Safety Center by Jan. 15.

The Monday and Wednesday afternoons course is approximately nine weeks in length and will take place Feb. 28; March1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29; April 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24 and 26. Classes will be conducted from 4 to 6 p.m. each afternoon. To enroll, an enrollment form and a non-refundable $75 deposit must be received at the Safety Center by Feb. 15.
