Michael Cochran hosts Concerts on the Platte Recital

Michael Cochran will perform as part of the University of Nebraska at Kearney’s Concerts-on-the-Platte series on November 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Recital Hall.

Cochran will perform a voice recital displaying the works of Franz Schubert, while Ian Moschenross accompanies him on the piano. Cochran has performed a wide range of opera, oratorio and solo concert repertoire around the United States, Europe and Russia. He is currently an assistant professor at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln where he teaches Applied Voice, Vocal Pedagogy, the History of Art Song and Russian Diction for singers. Ian Moschenross is currently completing his D.M.A in piano from UNL and is a professor of piano at Doan College.

The Concerts-on-the-Platte series is sponsored by the UNK Department of Music and Performing Arts. Admission to the concert is free and open to the public.
