 The University of Nebraska at Kearney hosted its second annual MLK Day of Service on Thursday in the Nebraskan Student Union. More than 100 people were in attendance for the keynote address featuring former state Sen. Ernie Chambers, who shared his passion for public service, social justice and equality. The longest-serving state senator in Nebraska history, Chambers represented North Omaha for 46 years.
