Second annual Nebraska Career Catalyst conference scheduled for Nov. 18 in Omaha

OMAHA – The UNK Alumni Association will co-host the second annual Nebraska Career Catalyst on Nov. 18 at the Thompson Alumni Center in Omaha.

This event will feature expert faculty and alumni presenters from the University of Nebraska’s four campuses and is a collaboration between the alumni associations at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, University of Nebraska at Omaha and University of Nebraska Medical Center.

These unique and interactive learning sessions are tailored for early and mid-career professionals and will focus on workplace soft skills, management best practices and professional development. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with other UNK alumni and university leaders.

Registration is required and includes breakfast and lunch. The cost is $50 through Sept. 26 and $70 after that date. Registration closes on Nov. 1.

The Courtyard Marriott Omaha Aksarben Village is the official hotel partner of the 2024 Nebraska Career Catalyst. A discounted room rate is available to attendees who book here before Oct. 20.

A full schedule with session topics and speakers is available online. UNK alumni Tracy Lungrin and Steve Lungrin will give the opening keynote “Source Code for Humanity,” and Jack Kreman will present “Putting Your Network to Work” in an afternoon breakout session.
