The University of Nebraska at Kearney String Ensemble will be performing at the G.W. Frank House on Saturday, April 28 at 3 p.m.
The UNK String Ensemble is a small chamber orchestra comprised of string students, directed by Sachiho Murasugi and assisted by Jeffrey Schoyen. The orchestra will perform a wide range of string literature from the Baroque to the Romantic era. The group will perform Corelli’s Concerto Grosso, a Mozart Divertimento, and Greig’s Holberg Suite, among other selections.
A tea reception will follow the performance and free will donation is requested. The G.W. Frank House is located on the West Campus of UNK.
This event will be held on the verandah of the Frank House if weather permits, otherwise it will be inside the Frank House. Reservations are requested as seating is limited. Call (308) 865-8284 for reservations or more information.
