Brian Glaser of Grand Island will present his Senior Student Recital at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 24, in the University of Nebraska at Kearney Fine Arts Recital Hall.
Glaser, who sings baritone, is majoring vocal performance. His recital will include Flight for Heaven by Ned Rorem, Pilgrim’s Progress by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Don Quichotte a Dulcinee by Maurice Ravel and Pear Fishers by Georges Bizet.
He will also perform two duets. The first will be from the Pilgrim’s Progress, The Song of the Leaves of Life and the Water of Life with Sarah Anderson of Kearney; the second, a Pearl Fishers duet, with Dan Korensky of Grand Island. The recital is free and open to the public.
Glaser, a 2000 Regional NATS winner, is a student of Pina Mozzani, UNK assistant professor of music and performing arts. He is the son of Ray and Pam Glaser.
