Visiting artist David Lobdell will create a performance art piece at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, in conjunction with Hot Topic: A Contemporary Invitational Exhibition currently up in the Walker Art Gallery, located in the University of Nebraska at Kearney Fine Arts Building.
David Lobdell is an associate professor of art at New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, N.M. He is one of 28 artists from across the United States and the United Kingdom with works featured in the exhibition.
The event, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the UNK Glass & Sculpture Club with funding from UPFF and additional support from DPI Graphics.
