The University of Nebraska at Kearney will host area high school seniors at a 6:30 p.m.(MST) Go for the Gold reception at the Four Points Sheraton Denver Southeast, 6363 E. Hampden Ave., in Denver, Colo., Thursday, March 3.
The Go for the Gold receptions are for high school seniors who have applied to the University of Nebraska at Kearney and for seniors who are interested in knowing more about the university. Representatives from the Colleges of Business and Technology, Education, Fine Arts and Humanities, and Natural and Social Sciences, as well as representatives from the offices of Financial Aid and Residential Life will be on hand to answer questions. In addition, University of Nebraska at Kearney students will be on hand to answer questions from a student perspective.
“The Go for the Gold receptions are an excellent opportunity for us to bring the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus to the Denver area, and to give prospective students and their families an opportunity to meet, and ask questions of, our faculty, staff, administrators, students and alumni,” said Dusty Newton, University of Nebraska at Kearney director of Admissions.
