KEARNEY – Eighteen students and one senior administrator are the newest members of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi at University of Nebraska at Kearney.
Phi Kappa Phi promotes academic excellence and is the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline honor society. Standards for election are extremely high. Membership is by invitation only to the top 7.5 percent of second-semester juniors and the top 10 percent of seniors and graduate students.
UNK hosted its initiation ceremony April 12, when new members were given a certificate, pin and honor cord to wear at commencement.
