STUDENTS WIN BID FOR THE MIDWEST AFFILIATE OF COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY RESIDENCE HALLS (MACURH) CONFERENCE SET FOR NOVEMBER AT UNK

The University of Nebraska at Kearney has won the bid to host the Midwest Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (MACURH) conference in November.

Last November, a group of 19 students and advisers from the UNK Residence Hall Association and the UNK National Residence Hall Honorary came together to put forth the bid to host the conference.

The theme of the conference will be “MACUHR the Musical.” More than 400 students are expected to attend from around the Midwest.

MACURH is one of eight regions that make up, the National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH). The Midwest region is comprised of seven states including Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Missouri and the Canadian province of Manitoba.
