University of Nebraska at Kearney’s Women’s Chorus and Choraleers choirs performed a joint concert Tuesday night at the Fine Arts Recital Hall on campus.
The Women’s Chorus began the evening’s entertainment with three pieces: “The Turtle Dove” by Jason Webb, “And Nature Smiled” by Allen Koepke and “Yo Le Canto Todo El Dia” by David Brunner. The Choraleers finished the night with six songs: “I Will Arise and Go” by Shawn Kirchner, “Sunrise” by Michael Hennagin, “Precious Lord” by Arnold Sevier, “Come, Ye Ladies and Lairds” by Dan Davison, “This Little Light of Mine” by Moses Hogan and “Alleluia” by Elaine Hagenberg.
The program was conducted by choir director and associate professor of music John Petzet. Mirim Kim accompanied on piano.
