KEARNEY – Staff Senate at the University of Nebraska at Kearney is hosting a 10-point pitch tournament to raise money for a scholarship that goes to family members of UNK staff.
The event is 6:30 p.m. March 14 at the Chicken Coop Sports Bar & Grill, 2115 Ave. A, Kearney. Registration deadline is Friday (March 8). Teams, made up of two players, can sign up at http://www.unk.edu/committees/staffsenate/index.php.
Following registration, participants should send a copy of their receipts along with their teammate’s name to Carmen Brewer at brewerc@unk.edu.
The suggested donation to participate is $25 per person. The event is open to the public.

All proceeds go to the UNK Staff Dependent Endowed Scholarship Fund, which has been a resource to dependents of UNK staff members for more than 20 years.
