KEARNEY – The University Theatre at Kearney presents “Eurydice” Wednesday through Sunday at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
Sarah Ruhl’s “Eurydice” dives head first into the story of Orpheus and Eurydice from the young heroine’s perspective. Eurydice is a bright young woman with a passion for philosophy and literature engaged to the greatest musician, Orpheus. When her late father attempts to contact her from the underworld on her wedding day, an Interesting Man and his chorus of Stones maliciously intervene.
When: 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 14-17; 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18.
