KEARNEY – UNK Staff Senate is hosting a 10-point pitch tournament to raise money for a student scholarship fund.
The tournament is scheduled for 6:30-9:30 p.m. June 7, with a social hour from 5-6:30 p.m., at the Chicken Coop Sports Bar and Grill, 2115 A Ave., in Kearney. This event is open to the public.
The suggested donation is per person, with two players on each team. Proceeds from the tournament go to the UNK Staff Dependents Endowed Scholarship Fund.
To register, go to nufoundation.org, click the “Give Now” button and select the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Type 01063700 in the search box to access the UNK Staff Dependents Endowed Scholarship Fund and make a donation.
Email a copy of your donation receipt, along with your name and pitch partner’s name, to Aaron Estes at estesag@unk.edu. Registration deadline is June 1.
