KEARNEY – University of Nebraska at Kearney violin/viola students will present a string concert and studio recital at 3 p.m. Saturday in the UNK Fine Arts Recital Hall.
Admission is free, and the concert is open to the public. The recital includes 10 student performers and is directed by Ting-Lan Chen, professor of violin/viola. Compositions performed will include work from famous composers such as J.S. Bach, Max Bruch, Handel and Edouard Lalo.
“Through the recital, students share standard string repertoire with the audience,” said Chen. “It is also an important training for their stage performance.”
