Musical performances and dancing took the top awards in this year’s FAME Talent show held recently at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
Individual winners, their prizes and their talents, include: first place ($200) – Lanny Fuller of Kearney, guitar and vocal; second place ($150) – Moses Moxey of Kearney, vocal; and third place ($50) – Jake Hebbert of Hyannis, acoustic guitar and harmonica.
Winners in the group performance division include: first place ($300) – We Are This, featuring Justin Kluver of Plainview and Benjamin Loschen of Wilcox, an acoustic/indie pop band; second place ($200) – Bboyz, consisting of Clyde Thomas of Omaha and Ruddy Jiminez, breakdancing; third place ($100) – Fordudes ‘N A Chevy, featuring Dustin McBride of Albion, Aaron McCoy of Arapahoe, Chevy Smith of Imperial, and Josh Brummer and Matt Jensen, both of Kearney, singing a cappella.
The event was sponsored by the Loper Programming and Activities Council (LPAC).
