Members of University of Nebraska at Kearney Circle K will be holding their Trick-or-Treat for the Greater Good event on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 3-6 p.m.

UNK Circle K members, dressed in their light blue Circle K club t-shirts, will be going door-to-door throughout the Kearney community to collect monetary donations for school supplies for the Kearney Backpack Program. The program provides more than 700 backpacks full of school supplies each year for elementary, middle and high school students who cannot otherwise afford school supplies.

According to Amy Krichau, a UNK Circle K member from Scottsbluff, this is the first year Circle K is doing the backpack fund-raiser.
