UNK– Reza, claimed by critics to be “one of the nation’s top illusionists,” will take stage on Thursday, Nov. 11, at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
“We booked the larger show this year, and it will be bigger and grander” said Tim Danube, UNK associate director of the Nebraskan Student Union.
Reza’s illusions include an assistant vanishing in thin air, a $100 bill trick, reading the thoughts of audience members, a split-second appearance of a motorcycle, an assistant being sliced into four pieces and Reza passing through 300 pounds of steel.
The show, which is free and open to the public, will be presented twice, once at 6:30 p.m. and again at 9 p.m. in the Nebraskan Student Union Ponderosa Room.
Reza has been featured on television and radio shows in 31 countries, and his tours have sold out theaters across the country. He is currently featured in the movie “Masters of Magic.” He began his career at the age of 14 by performing in resorts and for large corporations. Today, Reza is considered one of the fastest rising stars in the industry.
