High school seniors from across the state will have the opportunity to tour the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus and learn more about UNK offerings at the biannual Senior Day set for Monday, Nov. 2.
UNK Chancellor Doug Kristensen will open the event with a welcome at 9 a.m. Loper Liaison president Brad Green of Grand Island will also address the group. Seniors will attend a series of sessions led by the Office of Multicultural Affairs, Residential Life and Greek Life, Honors Program, Athletics, Undergraduate Research, Financial Aid, Campus Ministries, Intramurals, Performing Arts and Army ROTC. The day will conclude with academic appointments, a complimentary lunch and campus tours.
The registration deadline is at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28. A $10 fee will be collected at check-in. High school seniors and parents may register online through the UNK Web site www.unk.edu by typing “Admissions Calendar of Events” in the search field and clicking on “Nov. 2” to register.

9-9:45 a.m.- Check-in at Nebraskan Student Union
9:45-10 a.m.- Welcome by UNK Chancellor Doug Kristensen and Loper Liaison president Brad Green
10-10:20 a.m.- Breakout session 1
10:30-10:50 a.m.- Breakout session 2
11-11:20 a.m.- Breakout session 3
11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m.- Academic appointments
12:15-1 p.m.- Lunch provided by Chartwells
1-2:30 p.m.- Tour of campus
