UNK- Eight faculty and staff members at the University of Nebraska at Kearney have been selected to participate in the third annual Leadership UNK program.
The participants were selected into the one-year program based on their application. They will attend eight half-day sessions and one full-day session, beginning in August and ending next May. The program is in its third year.
Newly selected participants include: Karin Covalt, Assessment Office; Brenda Jochum, Department of Industrial Technology; Diana Jones, Student Records and Reception; Jael Roschewski, Office of Admissions; Elizabeth Stout, Health Science Programs; Chelsea Swarm, Human Resources; Tiffany Tarvestad, Career Services; and Sharon Waller, Facilities.
Participants will attend sessions where they will learn about leadership at UNK, build a greater awareness of leadership opportunities on the campus and develop a higher comfort level when interacting with those in administrative roles.
