UNK -Students can test their skills in the game of laser tag at the University of Nebraska at Kearney on Thursday, Feb. 5.
The Loper Programming and Activities Council (LPAC) are sponsoring the event between 5-11 p.m. at the Nebraskan Student Union in the Ponderosa Room.
The event is free to students, and registration may be made by calling the Welcome Desk at 308.865.8523 between 8 a.m.-10 p.m.
Laser tag involves a person’s ability to hit their target in three vulnerable areas while ensuring that they don’t become a target themselves. They may play alone or on a team of up to five people. A maximum of 10 people may go through the course within a 10 minute time-frame.
“Last year, we had around 370 people play,” said Jami Schaffnitt, coordinator of student activities. “We are always full and always packed.”
The top three teams of the evening will be awarded prizes, including T-shirts, pizza and movie passes.
