New international journal being unveiled at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, at UNK

A new international journal of scholarship will be unveiled at the University of Nebraska at Kearney at4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18,
in ceremonies in the College of Education Dean’s Conference Room, which is located on the first floor of the UNK College of Education Building.

The new journal is co-owned/created by the UNK Department of Counseling & School Psychology and the Department of Theoretical and School Psychology at Vytautas Mangus University in Kaunas, Lithuania.

Presenting the first issue of the “Journal of Psychology: A Biopsychosocial Approach” will be Dr. Max McFarland, chair and professor of the UNK Department of Counseling & School Psychology. The Lithuanian editors will be introduced via video.

Also on hand to mark the unveiling of the international journal will be UNK Chancellor Doug Kristensen; Dr. Finnie Murray, senior vice-chancellor for Academic Affairs/Student Life; and Dr. Ed Scantling, dean of the UNK College of Education.
