71 School Systems From Ten States Seeking UNK Graduates At 31st Annual Educator’s Employment Fair

Seventy-one school systems from 10 states will be on the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus tomorrow (Tuesday, March 25) seeking UNK graduates at the 31st. annual Educator’s Employment Fair.
        The event is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. on the second floor of the Nebraskan Student Union. Approximately 225 UNK education candidates are expected to be actively seeking job opportunities during the fair. School systems are coming to the fair from the states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, Texas and Wyoming.
       Among the positions the schools are seeking to fill are elementary, special education, math, science and foreign languages.
UNK offers 57 endorsements; undergraduate students must complete either two subject endorsements or one field endorsement. Post-baccalaureate students may choose to complete only one subject or one field endorsement.
       UNK offers a variety of programs to choose from for all levels of education. Among the programs are: undergraduate programs in elementary, secondary and K-12 education; graduate programs in an areas including elementary education, selected secondary education areas, special education, elementary administration, secondary administration, speech-language pathology, counseling and reading; and specialist programs in school psychology and educational administration.
