FOURTH BIENNIAL PSYCHOLOGY FAIR SET FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA AT KEARNEY IN OCTOBER

Nebraskan high school psychology teachers and students from across the state will be attending the fourth biennial Psychology Fair at the University of Nebraska at Kearney in October.

As part of the fair, UNK psychology students are preparing approximately 50-60 displays and demonstrations that encompass a wide range of research and applications in psychology. Attendees will need at least two hours to view the exhibits.
    
Featured topics for the 2006 Psychology Fair include jury deliberation, police interrogation, language acquisition, facial attractiveness and mazes. The topics are derived from four categories consisting of forensic psychology, animal behavior, cognitive psychology and social psychology.

The event will take place Thursday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the UNK Nebraskan Student Union and Copeland Hall, and a free lunch will be provided for attendees in the Nebraskan Student Union dining hall, courtesy of UNK Admissions.
