Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) team members at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, in cooperation with Steve and Dick Lungrin of CanFitU.com, are offering a workshop designed to help college students become better prepared for employment interviews.

“Clothes the Deal” is focused on interview attire and etiquette, and will provide UNK students with information and advice on the job interviewing process, different professional dress codes and how to present a professional image.

With more than 25 years experience in the tailored clothing industry, Steve and Dick Lungrin’s online store, CanFitU.com, is not only a source for quality athletic cut formal clothing, but also an information center.

“The UNK SIFE team is excited to bring the Lungrins on campus to help more UNK students learn how to present themselves in a professional manner and ‘close the deal’ as they interview for internships and permanent employment,” said Dr. Susan Jensen, SIFE team faculty adviser.

“Clothes the Deal” will take place Wednesday, March 30, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in Room 238C of the UNK West Center Building.

This workshop is just one of many educational outreach activities offered by the UNK SIFE team this year. Founded in 1975 and active on more than 1,500 college and university campuses in 37 countries, SIFE is a non-profit organization that works in partnership with business and higher education to provide college students the opportunity to make a difference, and to develop leadership, teamwork and communication skills through learning, practicing and teaching the principles of free enterprise.
