The telecommunications management student professional organization, Telecommunications Network Organization (TNO), at the University of Nebraska at Kearney has selected Leadership Team members for 2004-2005.
“This organization is guided through the concept of a Leadership Team,” said Dr. Ron Tuttle, UNK professor of industrial technology and faculty adviser. “All team members share all duties and provide equal leadership responsibility for TNO. The offices of president, vice president, treasurer, secretary and historian are shared by the team.”
The 2004-2005 Telecommunications Network Leadership Team, listed alphabetically by hometown, includes:
Blue Hill- Joshua Whiteley
Columbus- Ryan Rieck
Edgar- Brian Bush, alternate
Kearney- Rebecca Junge and
Weldon Loewenstein
Ravenna- James Trambly
According to Dr. Tuttle, TNO was established to provide educational and social experiences for the telecommunications management major that supports and expands the UNK curricular program. Organizational activities include presentations made by corporate information officers, telecommunications industry representatives, tours of telecommunications facilities and social gatherings.
The TNO Leadership Team meets the first and third Mondays of each month during fall and spring semesters, while the full TNO group meet the third Monday of each month.
