The UNK chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon social fraternity has been named Chapter Home of the Year.
According to A.J. Rose, a Sig Ep from Kearney, the award is given to one Sig Ep chapter in the Midwest region each year. The UNK chapter was selected from among more than 30 other chapters in competition for the award.
Chapters are judged based on how well the house is maintained, the atmosphere in the house and the way in which members represent Sigma Phi Epsilon in the university community.
