Chi Omega women’s fraternity at the University of Nebraska at Kearney recently held winter initiation ceremonies for 13 new members.
According to Michelle McGeorge, a Chi Omega member from Craig, to become an active member in the organization, each initiate completes a new member training period and must attain high scholastic achievement.
“The 13 new members join more than 250,000 women across the country in what makes up one of the largest women’s organizations in the nation, second only to the Girl Scouts of America,” McGeorge said.
