The class will also focus on strengthening the teachers’ understanding of today’s economy and financial literacy, and introducing them to innovative ways of making this sometimes difficult subject more exciting for students of all ages.
The deadline to apply for the scholarship is May 15, 2003. Apply on-line at http://www.unk.edu/acad/econ/center.html. The class will be worth three graduate credits. The class will be Monday and Tuesdays for three hours each day and five hours a week online.
The Richard L. Guffey Memorial Economic Education Scholarship and the Nebraska Council on Economic Education provided funding for this scholarship to UNK’s Center for Economic Education. Sponsored by BlueCross BlueShield of Nebraska.
