For the second year in a row, the Xi Phi chapter of Mortar Board at the University of Nebraska at Kearney is “Trick-or-Treating” for children’s books in the Kearney community on the evening of Wednesday, October 30.
Kearney residents that would like to donate books please call Albert Duckworth at (308) 865-4350 by October 28. The organization will pick up your books (dressed in costumes) during the early evening. All books will be donated to the Kearney SAFE Center, the UNK Child Development Center and area schools.
Help support the chapter’s national cause, “Reading is Leading.”
