With stirring success, Sharon Davis of the Department of Family & Consumer Sciences at the University of Nebraska Kearney, was awarded the distinction of “Volunteer of the Year.” This award was presented by the Nebraska Association of Retarded Citizens on April 19 at the New World Inn in Columbus at 5:45 p.m.
Sharon and her dietetic students provide “Healthy Cooking Lessons” one Saturday a month during the academic year to Buffalo County ARC clients in the Otto Olsen Food Lab.
