The Hispanic Student Association at the University of Nebraska at Kearney will host the 2nd Annual Hispanic Issues Forum on Tuesday, April 23 at 7 p.m. in Copeland Hall room 133. This forum will consist of experts, professors, and Hispanic students who will speak on issues regarding immigration, refugee and asylum status, issues of Hispanic empowerment, issues regarding interaction between students, and other issues of interest.
“The purpose of this forum is to connect with students at UNK who might be oblivious to some of the concerns facing Hispanic students in a modern campus setting,” said Dr. Dan Cox, assistant professor of political science. “It is hope that this forum will bring greater understanding and greater interaction between all students at UNK.”
