GOAL SYNTHESIS PRESENTATION

Nationally known presenter Dr. Bruce “Woody” Cain will be hosting “Goal Synthesis” on November 6 at 7 p.m. in Copland Hall room 142.

Dr. Cain will guide participants through the seven steps of goal synthesis. His presentation will include information on goal identification, objective appraisals, goal verification, actions and outcomes of chosen goal paths, designating strategies, goal execution monitoring, and a final goal assessment. Dr. Cain is a graduate of the College of William and Mary in Virginia and received his Masters of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Social Psychology and Organizational Behavior from the University of Florida. He was appointed a Regular Army Infantry Officer in 1966 and during his 26 years of duty severed in a variety of command and staff positions. Dr. Cain has specialized in leadership education, strategic planning, training management, and organizational effectiveness.

In over 20 years of teaching, Cain has taught at over eight different colleges and has memberships in the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, Psi Chi, the Psychology Honorary, Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity and the National Residence Hall Honorary.

“Goal Synthesis” is sponsored by the UNK Leadership Development Council and funded by University Program and Facility Fees. The presentation is open to the public free of charge.
