UNK will celebrate homecoming October 7-13 with a week of activities concluding with Loper football vs. Fort Lewis on Saturday, October 13. This week will be filled with a variety of activities to bring UNK students together allowing them to have fun, be crazy, and get creative.
“All of the events prove to be pretty successful each year. The events with the largest attendance are usually the Lip Sync contest and the Crowning of the Royalty,” said Karla Falk from the Nebraskan Student Union.
“A new activity this year is the Crazylimpics. It is an obstacle course containing little events. For example, students will have to complete an egg toss, cross a balance beam with an orange between their knees, and participate in a number of goofy little obstacles,” said Falk.
