2001 Minority Health Video Conference

The Rural Health Education Distance Learning Research Center on the UNK campus invites the public to the 2001 Summer Public Health Research Videoconference on Minority Health.

This conference will emphasize issues and solutions related to collecting and analyzing date for racial and ethnic populations. It will study the relationship between race and socioeconomic status, identifying and reducing barriers to conducting research in minority communities, and devising surveys to study minority populations and sub-populations.

The videoconference will be broadcast from Monday, June 18 through Friday, June 22 from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. There is a $10 registration fee. The videoconference will originate from the School of Public Health on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and will be transmitted to the Communications Center Building, UNK, Room 101.
