The University of Nebraska at Kearney College of Natural and Social Sciences recently announced the 2001-2002 College Fellows. College Fellows are majors nominated by departments on the basis of scholastic achievement and talent for and interest in becoming a college or university professor. For the academic year, the fellow becomes in effect a junior member of the department, learning first-hand about the work of a college professor. Fellows may serve on committees, help plan and conduct department events or assist professors with research or course preparation.
