The Department of Modern Languages at UNK is holding its 27th Annual Language Fair for high school students, entitled “An American in Paris, Berlin, Madrid or Mexico City.” 450 language students are expected and will be competing in various contests such as the College bowl, skits and songs, poetry recitation and a poster competition. All will be treated to an informative and entertaining welcome session in the Fine Arts Recital Hall at 9 a.m. featuring UNK language majors and international students. Following a session in which students can take mini-lessons in a lesser-known language and its culture, an ethnic buffet will be offered to all participants in the Health and Sports Center.
