UNK-The University of Nebraska at Kearney Panhellenic Council held a scholarship banquet on Feb.11 to honor the Greek women’s academic achievements for the fall semester. The following Greek women received awards: Leah Skorupa, a member of the Chi Omega Sorority, of Columbus, was awarded the Lori. J. Prauner Memorial Scholarship; Lauren Sedlacek, of the Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority, of Paxton, was awarded the Panhellenic Academic Improvement Award; Lynn Rauner, a member of the Chi Omega Sorority, of Hebron, received the Outstanding New Member Award for the 2000-2001 school year and received a $50 book scholarship. Recognition was also given to women who received a GPAs from 3.0-3.49, 3.50-3.99, and 4.0.
Finally, the women of the Alpha Phi Sorority received the Most Improved Chapter GPA Award, the Highest New Member GPA Award with a 3.1, and the Highest All Chapter GPA Award with a 3.249.
