UNK-The University of Nebraska at Kearney Career Services Department will be presenting “Selecting a Major” to assist students in selecting their majors. The workshop will be presented on Thursday, Oct. 12 at 3:00 p.m. in the Ockinga Auditorium on the West Campus of UNK. Those interested are asked to pre-register by calling (308) 865-8501. Registration will also be taken at the door. “Students who are currently attempting to decide a major are encouraged to attend this workshop,” said Virginia Peterson a Career Counselor at the Office of Career Services on the UNK campus.
This workshop is one of many offered by the Career Services office to assist students in their schooling as well as in finding a job after graduation. Students are encouraged to attend workshops such as this one and visit the Career Services Offices in the Students Affairs building for assistance in finding a major and career that is right for them.
