UNK-The University of Nebraska at Kearney forensics team recently competed in the Novice National Forensics Tournament held at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, Texas.
The team placed fourth in the team sweepstakes in Division III. Rachel Zeiger of Syracuse placed second in poetry interpretation and third in prose interpretation. Carie Steele of Hickman was a semi-finalist in impromptu speaking.
The UNK forensics team will finish their year at the National Forensics Association National Tournament in Athens, Ohio April 13-17.
