Learn the top 10 up-to-date resume techniques at a workshop set for 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8, at the Kearney Public Library.
The workshop, Update Your Resume, sponsored jointly by the University of Nebraska at Kearney and the Kearney Public Library, will be presented by Michelle Fleig-Palmer, UNK’s Dual Career Program director.
“An interviewer is always asking, ‘Why should I hire you?’ and a great resume answers that question by highlighting your strengths,” said Fleig-Palmer. “This workshop will cover the top 10 up-to-date techniques that will help people make their resumes outstanding.”
The Career Development Workshops, which are free and open to the public, are offered the second Monday of each month.
