KEARNEY – The main entrance to the University Village development will temporarily close to accommodate a water line installation and road construction project.
The closure impacts University Drive from U.S. Highway 30 to the north side of the parking lot entrances for the Regional Engagement Center and Village Flats apartments. It’s expected to begin this week or next week and last approximately two months.
Motorists accessing University Village from Highway 30 should use Chancellors Avenue to the west. The development can also be accessed from Railroad Street/University Drive to the south.
Traffic on Highway 30 will not be affected by the closure; however, drivers are encouraged to exercise caution in the area because of the construction activity.
