Social Fraternities and Sororities at UNK Earn an Overall GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 Scale

UNK– Social fraternities and sororities on the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus have an overall Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale, according to Tracy Lungrin, UNK Greek Life coordinator.

“Further, 61 percent of all UNK Greeks had a GPA of a 3.0 or higher,” she said, adding, ““I am so proud of the Greek community on the UNK campus. It’s amazing to see the results of the hard work by these men and women.”

A total of 17 sorority women and 23 fraternity men earned a 4.0 GPA, which is a straight “A” average. The five UNK sororities earned a combined GPA of 3.38; the seven UNK fraternities, a combined GPA of 3.11.

Alpha Phi had the highest sorority GPA with a 3.45, followed by Alpha Omicron Pi with a 3.42. The highest fraternity GPA was a 3.49 by Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI).
