Official signing of memorandum of agreement to establish Guard Officers Leader Development (GOLD) Program at UNK set for Tuesday, Aug. 21

Beginning this fall, a military presence will return to the University of Nebraska at Kearney
campus in the form of a Guard Officers Leadership Development (GOLD) Program, the first
of its kind in Nebraska.

The GOLD Program will officially become a part of the campus with the signing of a
memorandum of agreement in ceremonies set for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21,
in the Sandhills Room of the Nebraskan Student Union on the UNK campus.
