PHI KAPPA PHI HONOR SOCIETY AT UNK INITIATES 2004-05 MEMBERS

Phi Kappa Phi honor society at the University of Nebraska at Kearney recently initiated faculty and students in special ceremonies on the campus.

Phi Kappa Phi is the nation’s oldest and most prestigious honor society that recognizes excellence and achievement in all academic disciplines. Students and faculty are inducted into the honor society each year. Students are recognized for their academic achievement while faculty are recognized for exemplification standards of higher learning.

Among the benefits to students are formal recognition of academic achievement and opportunities to apply for fellowships

for graduate school and study abroad programs.

Students are nominated based on class standing (top 10% in GPA of seniors and top 7.5% of juniors), and after approval by the chapter members, they are invited to join Phi Kappa Phi.
