The University of Nebraska at Kearney Department of Music and Performing Arts presents the UNK Wind Ensemble Concert on April 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Recital Hall.

The performance will feature special guest soloists Allegra Woolen, senior music education major of Ord, playing the clarinet and Jonathan Jaworski, senior music education major of Hastings, playing the trombone.

The program will feature numerous musical compositions including Memories Of Tomorrow written by Ronald Crocker, UNK professor of music and performing arts. The piece was composed for the Wind Ensemble performance at the 2003 Installation of UNK Chancellor Doug Kristensen.

The UNK Wind Ensemble is the auditioned band of the Department of Music and Performing Arts for the second semester of each academic year. The ensemble performs two or more concerts each semester.
