The UNK Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Gary Davis, will present the premiere of a new concert march composed by Dr. Ronald Crocker titled “The Refiner’s Fire.” The group will also perform an instrumental setting of Carl Orff’s “Carmina Burana.”

The UNK Symphonic Band, under the direction of Dr. Neal Schnoor, will be presenting a sneak preview of an authentic John Philip Sousa concert that the ensemble will present on April 17th. This preview will consist of several traditional band favorites including “Light Cavalry Overture,” “Country Gardens,” and “Stars and Stripes, Forever” in addition to two other favorites from the classical repertoire.

The public is invited to attend and admission is free.
