The University of Nebraska at Kearney’s Concerts-on-the-Platte Series will feature Jean-Ronald LaFond, professor of voice at East Carolina University, and Catherine Hanna, staff accompanist at East Carolina University, on October 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Recital Hall.
The Latin-American composer specialists will fill the evening with a voice performance from LaFond accompanied by piano played by Hanna. LaFond has performed in major operatic productions throughout Italy, France, and the United States.
The Concerts-on-the-Platte series is sponsored by the UNK Department of Music and Performing Arts. Admission to the concert is free and open to the public.
